Too Much In My Inbox – Part Six – Spring Cleaning

Happy Weekend Everyone!

And welcome to the final part to this week’s series – Too Much in My Inbox.

Think….Spring Cleaning!

Just like you do with your closets, pantries, garages and refrigerator, your inbox and all the folders need to be cleaned out on a regular basis.  I suggest you do this at least twice a year.

Because, just like the other things above, as much as you try, there will be emails that are skipped over, forgotten about, or left to be dealt with at a later time.  At some point, these items either need to be dealt with or given up on and deleted.  Just like your once favorite sweater that is now out of fashion, the dream vacation will be replaced with a different dream trip – so let it go and focus on the current stuff.

Schedule it today.  A few hours reserved on your calendar.  I like to do these sorts of things around the change of a season or when the clocks change.  Go – put it on your calendar.

Ummm…calendars – – that’s what we’ll talk about next!

Hope you have enjoyed this series and have found some or all of the information I presented useful.  If so, I would appreciate you sharing my blog or Facebook page with your friends.

Thank you for reading and please share your comments.
