Happy Thursday!
Thank you everyone for reading my “Paper, Paper…Everywhere “series. I hope you are finding it informative and will be able to apply some of the tips to your routine.
So now that we have talked about getting organized and how to reduce incoming paper, there is still a lot of information that comes to you that can’t be dealt with right away because it is either a timing issue or it is too lengthy to read.
For those things that need to be read but aren’t time sensitive, I recommend creating “to be read” pile. This pile might contain newsletters from charity, update flyers that come with a bill or statement, quarterly publications from your Alma Marte or your insurance company, magazines, and etc. From this pile, get in the habit of grab and go and take one of the items with you at all times. This way, you won’t be at a loss for something to do (besides check Facebook from your phone) when you are waiting for your car’s oil change, waiting at your child’s dentist appointment or getting your hair cut. You’ll be amazed at how much you can stay on top of things if you have them available when you are.
Thoughts? I love comments and other suggestions. Please feel free to send them my way.
Have a great day!
